Mattsun wins X-Mania Europe 3on3 Solo by defeating TMF in the grand finals! TMF was knocked into the loser’s bracket in his first match by MAX31 in the top 8 but battled back to the finals by defeating Kouni, ORF, then running it back against MAX31 and defeating Abdel to face Mattsun. TMF took the set 3-0 against Mattsun and reset the bracket but Mattsun came back strong winning the final set 3-0. Congratulations to Mattsun!
X-Mania Europe 4 (3 vs 3 team battle) will take place at the main event.

MAX31 surprises everyone by winning X-Mania Europe Solo. Max got a lucky break by avoiding Mattsun and ORF in the bracket but defeated TMF in both Winners Finals and Grand Finals. A little bit of controversy with Mattsun playing TMF in round two of the Winner’s Bracket? Congratulations to Max!

It was announced today that Mattsun (Ken) and TMF (Zangief) will be attending X-Mania Europe 4! Both players were teammates on the winning team at X-Mania USA last month at EVO 2014 and will be looking to be victorious again!

X-MANIA EUROPE 4 – September 20-21, 2014 – Pau, FRANCE
GENERAL RULES:
– All matches are done best two out of three rounds, time is set on 99s.
– Turbo 3.
– Akuma is banned.
– If there is an issue with the hardware, please refer to a member of the staff immediately, if the issue is confirmed, the round when it happened will have to
be played again.
– The schedule of the competition will be indicated on the player badges, please refer to it and be present in the tournament zone at the appointed time. A
player which is absent at the time he has to play in a tournament match will be forfeited.
SOLO :
– Tournament is done in double elimination.
– Character is locked for the duration of the tournament.
– All sets are done best two out of three matches.
– Before every set, the two players does a janken, the winner can choose the side he will play on.
SOLO 3ON3:
– Tournament is done in double elimination.
– Every player chooses three fixed characters for this tournament, order of play is free.
– A single character can be selected multiple times by one player.
– Before every set, the two players does a janken, the winner can choose either the side he will play on, or require is opponent to tell him the first character he
will use. The loser of the janken gets the option the winner didn’t choose.
– When a player loses a match with one of his three characters, he goes on with one of his other characters, once one players doesn’t have any character
left, his opponent wins the set.
TEAM 3VS3:
– Tournament is done in single elimination.
– Character choice is locked for this tournament.
– Sets are done in «winner stays on» format.
– Before every set, the captains of each teams does a janken, the winner can choose either the side his team will play on, or require their opponents to tell
the character they will use first. The loser of the janken gets the option the winner didn’t choose.

– Tournament will be run on head to head Sega Astro City cabinets.
– Sticks : Sanwa JLF-TP

– Game : Super Street Fighter 2X japanese version
