America

  • The Fall Classic TOL3 qualifier took place last weekend with Zoolander winning the tournament. Brackets | Stream
  • East Coast Throwdown (October 20-21) will be the very last qualifier left before Tournament of Legends take place at Canada Cup.
  • Kusumondo has been announced as the 4th Japanese invite for ToL3. new belt
  • Monday Night Fightcade @ Arkadeum run their #97 weekly event with Real Decoy and H-Zero in the finals. Bracket | Video
  • Psychochronic posted a recent set of casuals played in Canada with him Dogberry, Unessential, Redeyeguy, Pestro, and other special guests. No annotations.

  • Norcal Crabattle was hosted last weekend in Belmont, CA featureing ST. Unfortunately with no videos. Info
  • Early Bird registration for Northeast Championships (mid-December) is now open.
  • The community in Argentina streamed a special event called “Desafios” with series of FT15 and other similar challenges. Another big announcement is that the major VS Series (beginning of November) will incorporate ST as one of their games. They made a trailer to announce it.

Japan

  • As MAO announced recently, the guys at Space Shuttle (Chubu) have joined the trend of making FT10s (Kemonomichi event). Finally, the video between Prince ChunLi and Superstar Boxer has been released. Played on September 23. According to the description both players have been training for this for about a month. Video
  • Gamespot Versus weekly team tournament (Kanto). Special HSF2 event (they do it a couple of times per year). Tencho Ryu and Hide ChunLi were the team captains. Annotations in video description. [source: GSV youtube channel]

  • North vs South weekly team tournament #97 from the HL-SEGA arcade (Kansai). Teppei Guile and Hazi DJ face each other in the decisive match. Player name annotations on screen both in Japanese and English.
  • Game Daytona Shiki weekly tournament (Kanto). With their usual “winner stays on” format. There are always 2 laps. This week’s final is between Une Guile and Seo Dictator. Annotations in video description. [source: Daytona twitch channel]

Europe

  • One of the two big European team events on Fightcade this year is going to be streamed on Saturday, October 6 at LaDOSETV channel (9pm CEST) and commented by Isimorn and Zartghatt. It is a 20vs20 match that has been played in the last months and put together now for you to see. Trailer
  • XSB Tournament had many more big players signing up from the UK: Orf, Kaosflare, GolcarJack, Vile-Island as well as Spinalblood from Italy. There will be 7 players coming from Spain. In total, a third of the total list is coming from countries outside of France which is probably a new record.

  • The guys from Navarcade in Spain run a few events in the last weeks both in Murchante, Zaragoza and Madrid. One of the finals played in one of those events was recorded and commented by Marcade (who btw also posted a recent video about reaching 1M points in ST)
  • Rival Scenes Major in the UK has announced that it will include ST as one of the main games for 2019. Signups are already open.

Others

  • The event Hong Kong Retro Gaming Expo organized a series of tournaments and ST was one of them. They posted the video of the finals on facebook.
  • Gwenroc has posted a video about how to build the Multi CPS2 Darksoft. Content in French.
