- Canada Cup is ready to finally host the Tournament of Legends III this weekend. Schedules have been announced as follows: Team tournament – Friday at 6pm (EDT). On-site qualifiers – Saturday at 9am (EDT). Tournament of Legends top 32 – Saturday at 7pm (EDT). Tournament of Legends finals – Sunday TBD. Schedule grid. - The last ToL3 qualifier was run last weekend at ECT. With Technical Monkey ChunLi, BAS Old Sagat and Psychochronic ChunLi forming the podium. - Fromo, Shotosallday and Rudytudy run and recorded a 4 hour set of casuals. The video description lists the characters that each player used. Video

Japan
- Last week’s tournament X-Er has now a video with detailed description and timestamps. Stomach Momio Zangief was definitely the MVP of the tournament. Other games like the Shu Ken vs Yondaime Old Sagat are really worth watching.
- An FT5 coming from MAO-db at Space Shuttle arcade (Chubu) between Nakamu Honda and ZTT Zangief (video). Anyone knowing how lopsided this matchup is will understand how brave ZTT Zangief is to participate in this challenge.
- Gamespot Versus weekly team tournament (Kanto). AFO Blanka and Kotaka Shoten Guile were the team captains. Nuki came back this week probably to be on point for ToL3. Great performance from PECO Old Ken as well. Annotations in video description. [source: GSV youtube channel]

- North vs South weekly team tournament #100 from the HL-SEGA arcade (Kansai) with an amazing performance of Mori Boxer. Player name annotations on screen both in Japanese and English. (Live stream every Monday night – Japan time).

Europe
- Footage from XSB team tournament has been fully posted and added to the playlist. Each match has been posted in a video separately. A couple of highlights would be the match with the top European team sending the Japan team to losers (video) or TMF almost beating the other 3 Japanese players in the losers final (part of the top 3 video). - The Barcelona Fighters crew who are usually dedicated to other fighting games had Chispes to join their talkshow and explain the experience of the Spanish players at XSB. Interview starts at 1:11:00. Video (content in Spanish)
Others
- Popular interviewer BornFree and legendary commentator James Chen had a ~2 hour stream were James was teaching BornFree the history, features and gameplay of Super Turbo. Really interesting conversation between the two. Stream video
- A really good mini documentary called “The return of Super Turbo” was created from the Combo Breaker tournament run few months ago. The ending of the documentary is as unexpected and emotional as the ending of the tournament. Video
- Any old man with kids in the ST community might appreciate the new silent buttons from Sanwa. Jasen Customs posted a video review about them.
- Capcom released another 30AE update although nothing significant has been added and definitely not the black screen fix that many players have been complaining about.
- Here a store selling posters with peculiar illustrations based on the SF2 stages (no new challengers though).
