Nuki confirmed for TOURNAMENT OF LEGENDS!

We are excited to announce that Nuki has confirmed for TOURNAMENT OF LEGENDS!

A multi-game legend in both Japan and America, Nuki is not only known for his aggressive game play, but he is also recognized for his outlandish commentary during intense matches. Since the late-90s, Nuki has been a dominant force in games such as Street Fighter Alpha 3, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, and most notably Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo.

Nuki has competed at EVO mutilple times at the past and has placed 2nd in Super Turbo in 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2008 but has never been able to take the championship. Will this year be the year Nuki finally breaks through and claims the title?

X-MANIA EUROPE will host a TOURNAMENT OF LEGENDS qualifier!

We are thrilled to announce that X-MANIA EUROPE will host a qualifier for TOURNAMENT OF LEGENDS.

Maho has posted on SRK that “The qualifier will be reserved for european players, fee is 10 Euros and winner gets all the pot, plus a guaranteed spot for the finals to be held at EVO.”

Super Arcade Qualifiers Results and Thanks!

Congratulations to AfroLegends and DGV for winning the Super Arcade tournaments and qualifying for TOURNAMENT OF LEGENDS! DNGR S PAPERCUT made a valiant effort but came up short in both finals. Full results and brackets will be posted soon.

Time for thanks!

Old school Mike Watson for letting us run this event at Super Arcade. This was my first time there and I was pretty blown away at how many people support this arcade. Between the ST tournament, the SFxTekken tournament and random other people playing other games, there must have been over a hundred people there. Incredible!

Commando over at IE Battlegrounds for providing such a top notch stream. We were planning on setting up a stream for this but it wouldn’t have compared to the quality that he was able to do. Super Arcade ToL Qualifiers tomorrow!

The Super Arcade qualifiers for TOURNAMENT OF LEGENDS is one day away! Signups start at 12PM and the first qualifier begins at 1PM. The 2nd qualifier will start following the conclusion of the first tournament, which is scheduled to be approximately 4-5PM.

We encourage all ST players in the So Cal area to show up and support the biggest ST series in US history.

For those who cannot attend, Inland Empire Battlegrounds will be providing a stream for all to view at www.twitch.tv/iebattlegrounds.
