UD-CPS2: FULLY CONSOLIZED CAPCOM PLAY SYSTEM 2

UD-CPS2 is a “consolized” CPS2 (Capcom Play System 2) created by Brian “Undamned” Grissom and was recently featured at THE ST GAMES at EVO 2013.  Basically the key components of a supergun (power, video, controller interface) have all been integrated into the CPS2 main board, allowing it to become as streamlined as any other home game console.  There are about 40 game titles available for CPS2, all of which can run on UD-CPS2 (provided they are from a compatible world region).
The Audio/Video outputs are identical to those of the original Sony Playstation console. In fact it uses the same “AV Multi Out” connector. The controller interface is compatible with most XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 controllers and is able to be updated via PC to expand controller support for the future. Buttons can also be re-mapped, allowing for flexibility and personal preferences.
The UD-CPS2 was very well received by players at EVO and many think that this is the future for ST in the USA.

Street Fighter 2 World Map

Isimorn, a French ST player created a world-wide map with locations for ST and other versions of SF2. Â He included arcades (game centers), major and minor tournaments and more.
He created a thread on SRK asking for feedback to add more locations, which you can find here:

“Hi everyone ! I’m Isimorn, french ST player and I’ve worked on this map ! The objective was to see any location on the map where you can play SSF2X in France, but then I could not stop my self to the borders of France, so it’s now a mother fucking World Map ! You will find on this map any location where you can play this serie : Hyper Fighting, Champion Edition, Super, Super Turbo, 2X and HDRemix ! On this map, there are Gamecenters, conventions, rankings, private sessions, minor and major tournaments, etc… any kind of event, anything that can help you play with people face to face near to you !
But here is my problem : the world is just too big for me and I can’t find every locations ! So I need your help here on this forum, any information will be appreciated to complete this world map!”

Happy April 2nd!
First off, we’d like to officially confirm yesterday’s post as an April Fools post.
The heads at STR got together a couple of days ago to figure out what to run for April Fools. Many ideas were thrown around, and the idea of a 3rd Strike Revival really stuck, as we’ve gotten a few inquiries about running Revivals for 3rd Strike over the past year. We raced to piece it together and have it ready.
We assure you that no ill will was intended toward the 3S community. We have long respected 3S as a game and recognized the passion within the 3S community. It was a very natural thing for us to wonder why no 3S player movement has developed to rally the community and get 3S back into the FGC spotlight. We hope this inspires someone in the 3S community to start a 3S Revival, which is something we would enjoy seeing.
Until that day, when the 3S Community surges forth and takes its place on the stage once more, we salute you 3S. In the spirit of the 3S community and dedication, make sure to check out some of the best 3rd Strike resources on the net, and soak in some 3S love:

TRUST Version 4.0 Now Available

XSPR posted on SRK regarding  a new version of TRUST.
New Features:
+20 new “Custom” slots
Savestate Creator
Config inputs a little easier
Edit Observe scripts from menu, and
Edit Lesson’s HTML (center pane text) a lil easier
More of the Savestate Creator will be automated, but for now you have to select P1 and P2 manually and press Shift-F7 like in the video at the start of the round. Then you can load &7 in your current Custom scripts, or rename it (best to keep the number within the right range, see prev. info) to so you can work on others scripts and come back to it later.

You can use that for both upgrading as well as new installations (new users). It won’t overwrite your current Custom Slots 1-10, but feel free to back up anything before upgrading (customs, etc) in separate folder.
